Montreal, Thursday, June 10, 2010 - Italian sights and sounds will abound this
weekend in Montreal!
As Ferraris rumble on the Formula 1 Grand Prix course, Pirotecnica Soldi fireworks handlers will be orchestrating the very first summer explosion at La Ronde. What could be more spectacular and appropriate than famous opera music to start off the most popular Montreal summer event with a bang?

The famous works of Puccini, Verdi, Rossini and Bellini will comprise most of the soundtrack, which will finish in grand style with Vittoria! based on Macbeth. The table is really set for a full-out finale, Italian style!

Often represented at L’International, this year, Italy makes its expected return. The Pirotecnica Soldi company, which will have the honour of representing Italy this time, will be participating for the 11th time. The Soldi family surely wants to take advantage of its experience in the event to amaze spectators by using Lac des Dauphins to a large degree and a large quantity of nautical parts. We must point out that the company really knows how to captivate the crowd. It won the Bronze Jupiter in 1995.

representative at the website of L’International ( http://www.internationaldesfeuxlotoquebec.com ). The names of the 15 tunes that will be played at La Ronde are also there.

TELUS people’s choice
This year, spectators at L’International des Feux Loto-Québec presented by TELUS will have their say! After each fireworks show in the competition until the following Friday at midnight, spectators will be able to post their appreciation for the show at http://www.internationaldesfeuxloto-quebec.com by awarding it a grade out of 10. They can also watch an excerpt of the show and share everything with their Facebook contacts.

Fireworks fans are invited to get their tickets now for what promises to be an outstanding competition. As a new feature this year, tickets are $5 off if purchased in pre-sale up to 14 days before each pyromusical show.
