The soundtrack is also available here: http://montreal-fireworks.com/ReportBlog/?p=14 and all the soundtracks will be linked from the schedule/reports pages as they are known. See http://montreal-fireworks.com/schedule.html for example - clicking on the company name will go to the soundtrack.

Please bear with me as the rest of the content is added to the new database.

From what it sounds like, the finale will be a short ending. Although it is a long track, the ending isn't the kind of BIG-ENDING like on "Also Sprach Zarathustra" or any other track played by an Italian firm at this competition recently. Last year, Italy really put something up there, even in 2008. Opera is Italy's favorite recreational favorite, and also a powerful theme. Looks quite interesting. Thanks for the info Paul!

Pat, take a look on the schedule. There was no Italian contestant last year.

Interesting set of opera soundtrack - this should invite for some particularly powerful segments.

Fred, yeah, I got mixed up. I meant to say in 2008. Italy sure made one heck of a display then.. :P
