PRESS RELEASE For immediate release

For their first presentation at Le Mondial SAQ, the Royal Pyrotechnie team hopes to stir the Montreal audience as much with the music as with the fireworks

Montreal, July 22, 2003 - This is the first time at the prestigious Montreal International Fireworks Competition for Royal Pyrotechnie, a company from the Montreal suburb of Saint-Pie. On July 23, Montreal spectators will have the chance to be dazzled by the creativity and know-how of these Québecois pyrotechnicians.

After winning the Grand Prix five times in a row (between 1993 and 1997) at Sherbrooke's Pyrotechnic Art Competition, now called Les Grands Feux Molson Du Canada, Royal Pyrotechnie President Mr. Jean-Pierre Roy became the Artistic and Technical Director in 1998. Adding to the company's expertise is the creator of Wednesday night's fireworks, Mr. Yannick Roy, who worked for two years on the launchpads at La Ronde. He will find himself on familiar grounds to present The Sky Cannot Wait.

Mr. Roy has also said that, "It was by working on the soundtrack with Mr. Serge Péloquin that the concept for The Sky Cannot Wait was developed. Our objective is to stir the audience by touching all their senses through their eyes as well as their ears."

The Canadian company, specialists in the production of pyrotechnical shows, purchased most of its bombs from Pirotechnia Caballer in Spain and Panzera in Italy. On Wednesday July 23, Montreal's audience will have the privilege to marvel at a whole new type of effect, the Flash bomb-never before seen in Montreal!

The pyrotechnicians of Royal Pyrotechnie are aiming to take images from their dreams and transfer them in the sky as they present an unforgettable pyrotechnical spectacle. The company will charm the Montreal audience by linking their canvasses together with one dazzling colour after another.

I've also put up the music list as well in the reports section. In fact, I do that everytime I post the press release, just as an FYI.

Paul.
