GFF also used a "ladder-structure" in the Hannover competition last year and it worked very efficiently. Sometimes the use of such structures can become quite "mechanical" but in Hannover GFF used a great variety of effects and it was very well integrated in the rest of the choreography (instead of using it as a stand-alone effect which is often seen).
