Though the weather was cool, I witnessed a neat fireworks display close to home yesterday evening. I (and many others) was reluctant to head out at first as I very much dislike the cool weather, especially when it's present at the end of June and July.

Speaking of weather, it is interesting to note that as of the year 2000, measurable rainfall was recorded in Montreal on Canada Day 9 out of 11 years (2010 included) - the only years that were completely free of rain being 2002 and 2008.

Despite the cool conditions (with the occasional brief passing rains), I had a great day yesterday.
