Hi, have you ever seen Maltese fireworks.....i recently did and mus admitt that they are probably the greatest. For me they are the best i've seen. much better than the ones that even compete in competitions! They have a tradition that every town and vilage has one week each year to display fireworks during the whole week both day and night. Daytime fireworks are verymuch beyond the reach because they are really really great. Night time are also very great. I am very impressed. 7 feet tall shells!!! would you imagine that? Ground Fireworks and Air fireworks. I advice you to go to Malta for the village feast. The ones i've see are of Luqa, village in Malta, were there is the airport.

Thanks for posting those links. I had the pleasure of meeting Toni and Clint Busuttil this summer when they were in Montreal building a traditional Maltese raddiena. It was spectacular!

We also got to see some Maltese multi-break shells in Kimbolton's display this summer too. Very very nice. I was also lucky enough to see a couple of these type of great shells when I was at the Pyrotechnic Artists of Texas shoot in March 2002. There's some photos of the shells under the Photos->Texas part of this site. Follow the link for BOB IV

I've checked out some those photos and I must say that they're quite impressive! I particularly like this one: Land Fireworks-3 at http://www.unionbandmalta.org/Images/pg17.jpg, although it would look even better without all the smoke around it. This one was also pretty nice: http://www.unionbandmalta.org/Images/nar8.jpg It reminds of Caballer's finale setup at the beginning! Very lovely colours. This is another beautiful shot: http://www.unionbandmalta.org/Images/nar4.jpg I still have to view some of the video clips! Some very nice pics, none the less!

Anyways, thx a lot for the link! It has some interesting information and content.

Regards,

Trav.
