I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Canada Day! Weather conditions should largely be pleasant for the occasion (though mostly cloudy, and a touch breezy), as well as for any fireworks displays taking place this evening.

Enjoy the day, and welcome to the warmest month of the year. We may also be reaching near heat wave status for S. Ontario through to S. Quebec, beginning on July 3rd - we've certainly earned such a pattern, especially after just experiencing the second coolest June (in terms of the maximum monthly average temperature) since June 2000.
