Sorry Enkil, there is no free version of the program. If you want to take part in the competition, you have to buy a copy. It doesn't cost much. I've already had chance to play with it and, believe me, it is a real lot of fun. Think of it as a video game if you like.

You will need a fast machine with lots of RAM and a good graphics card since the graphics are in 3D. As for using another program for this, no, there isn't. Well, that's not quite true. There is one, but to get to it requires membership of a special pyro website which is more than the cost of this program.

Just one final piece of advice, it's never a good idea in a public forum, such as this, to say that you're not going to pay for something since people might have the impression that you were thinking of pirating a copy. Which I'm sure you wouldn't, would you!

Paul.

Paul, i must admit to u, im good on those stuff lol, but i wanted to use the program for the contest, i was hoping maybe there was a 30 days use, but since i cant install the thing i cant use it, and theres no way i can get another computer right now..
but i wouldnt pay for 42$ it too much, so i guess i stop here
i cant even play games on this pc, since i dont have a video card that it needs
it looks fun, exciting, but i wish there way another program

Trav r u going to join, do u have the requirements..

I'm not actually sure, Enkil, but I think I may have most of the requirements presently. I really want to join the competition, but I have to double check that everything is OK so everything functions well. I also have to read the instructions a few more times to make sure I'm clear on everything.

Paul, I might need some more detail and info before I consider joining, that is if I have all the requirements at hand.

I'm just a little skeptical about the purchase. Enkil, you said something about 42$? I dunno yet. But I still might go through with it.

Enkil, how many things are you missing? It would be nice if you could join.

Anyway, You guys get back to me soon, oh yeah, Paul don't forget to reply in my second latest post titled "How many displays are there per year?" I wrote it yesterday. Thx.

Trav.

It seems quite expensive. I still don't know if I will actually participate in this little competition just yet, it in't quite confirmed. I'm still checking my equipment and the requirements needed to do the task.

I have to ask Paul if it's worth it to make the purchase, but from what I hear from him so far, is that it is quite fun and entertaining and enjoyable, so I might reconsider in my decision.

Like I said before, I need more info and details in order to make the choices. I guess Paul will post it later on. No big rush.

Trav.
