What do you guys look for in a typical ending?

When I watch an ending for any display, I look for the following:

First of all, I like when there is the choice of quick paced music soundtrack for the ending, preferably based on a theme for the country, set up for the finale. Don't forget, like the rest of the display, it must be synchranized, but it will be more intense with fast paced music. I like that!!

The final starts off slow and as the music gets on, so does the pace and intensity of the fireworks.

During it's wonderful intensity and pace, I then like a lot of colours at the top, while thousands of bombettes AND LOUD CRACKLING THUNDEROUS SALUTES are at the bottom lasting for at least 30 seconds to a minute at most, like the La Ronde fireworks ending, which was 1 min and 33 seconds approx.

Sometimes some countries, like Spain 2 years ago, who's company was Pirotecnia Igual, excuse my spelling, and made many appearances to represent Spain many times in the past, have done a faux finale! Which is good because it catches the audience off guard, but back then I knew it wasn't over because the Feris Wheel did not come back on.

BTW, usually after an intense ending and the Feris Wheel doesn't come back on, be prepared for the real thing! Either that or the Feris Wheel power is giving some problems! I always wait in case, regardless whether the Feris Wheel comes on or not! You never know sometimes....

Another thing I like about a magnificent and powerful ending, is when Paul says " The pace increased so much that it was beyond my ability to take any notes and all I could write in big letters is WOW!!" This is my other favorite part! Cheers Paul!

And finally, after such an ending, all I can do is feel my heart going and my body trembling and my hands applauding!!!!

So, all that said, what do you guys want to see in an ending?

I'm so eager to hear what you guys have to say!

So please reply soon.

Thx.

well here in singapore, national day was just over, the fireworks were not that great compared to the ones over at your country... but i did enjoy the ending.

they had some very nice go-getters and ti salutes going off for 15 secs. And they had over 20 mines with cracking white stars and finally they had one big shell which exploded into purple strobe stars, all synchronised to tchaikovsky's 1812 overture
