Hello, greetings everyone!

I was wondering if we can start to make some predictions about the competitors next year! Who do you think will be participating as previous Gold Jupiter winners from the past?

Here are the countries that I predict that will participate next year for the 20th anniversary, assuming 10 displays, including the Panzera show: Spain, Canada, United States, France, Japan, Italy and possibly Holland, China or Germany can squeeze in there as well, if they return.

Now, the firms for each of these countries that I predict: Pirotechnia Igual or Pirotechnia Caballer for Spain, most likely Royal Pirotechnie for Canada, Ipon S.R.L for Italy, Sunny International for China, there was another winning firm for China as well, Societe Lacroix or Societe Etienne Lacroix for France, Performance Pyrotechnic Associates for the U.S, this is a very popular firm for the U.S for their winnings of the Gold Jupiter, Marutamaya Ogatsu, as the first winner of the competition in 1985 for Japan, tied with France, Weco Pyrotechnic Fabrik for Germany and JNS Pyrotechnic for Holland.

You can get more info in the Winners List in the Information section.

Those are my predictions for the competitors next year!

Please send in your predictions!

I hope you don't have to, Enkil. I hope you will be able to see all the displays next year because it's the 20th anniversary!

But don't worry, I'm sure things may change from now till July 2004, a good 9 and a half month period!

About the competitors for next year, I think, as things stand now, that the competitors will most likely be Gold Jupiter winners from the past, but, things can very well change from now until then. But I'm sure that's how it's going to be next year, which will make it intense, more than any other year!

If you do happen to miss a display, I'll try to fill you in, or you can always read Paul's reports, but it's always nice to see it with your own eyes.

It would be nice if you could attend! It wouldn't be the same without you! lol

lol

i dunno if i can go to EVERY display, the reason is simple.. threat of rain, when it come to rains no one wants to go

i go on the bridge so its 10 times worst for me, it becomes hell with winds like englands (what an experince that was hah!) but im happy i made it!! its all worth

but i know that it rarely rains there, every place is different

anyways, theres still alot of time, we make it sound as if its only a few months away lmao! we still got 10 months to go + winter (ohh god!!!)

just thinking about winter makes me feel depressed

Yes indeed, the weather is also a major factor when it comes to fireworks! It affects people's moods and puts an impact on decisions on going or not. You can easily see the difference in population in rain or shine. BIG TIME difference.

You see I don't mind the rain, just not on fireworks days!

The good news is, it's actually a tad less than 9 months to wait till next year in June. Yes, we do make it sound as if the competition is next week! lmao!

I strongly agree with you, Winter is BY FAR, and I mean BY FAR the worst season! I can't wait till it goes! If it's anything like last year's brutal cold weather, I'm heading south! Winter had to be the longest season of them all.....!!! It always makes me depressed!

Anyways, I forgot to mention, I watched all the video clips this morning, from France to Panzera and it was pretty good, especially the finale! I organized it into a nice video!

So, hopefully you will get to see most of the displays next year! Hopefully the weather will cooperate as well, kinda like this year in particular!

BTW, WINTER SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
