In this marvelous pyromusical epic, the audience will be taken through a series of pyrotechnical effects that will recreate the five elements of nature: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Air. This colourful symphony of flower posies, butterflies, comets and fountains will be displayed in sync with an exceptional musical programme starring Pink Floyd, Kitaro, Beethoven and Strauss. First, to represent Earth and express our world's joie de vivre, Marutamaya will mainly use green pieces including thunderstorms, butterflies and bees effects. The second tableau will be themed around Water, the Buddhist element representing Mother Nature. To illustrate this element, mostly blue pieces and wave effects will be used. These waves will then intensify in crescendo to repre sent the river and finally the ocean. Fire is the third element that will be represented. The Japanese will demonstrate the strength and power of this element by using red and orange pieces including breathtaking spirals and kamuros. The fourth element is the Wind represented in two segments - the storm and the calm breezes. In this tableau, a great variety of colors, wind sounds, whistles, spirals and beautiful Japanese artistic shells will be displayed. The last tableau, Air, will represent planet earth within the universe using mainly blue pieces. Among others, ex panding comets and falling leaves effects will be used in this great finale. "Harmony" will display the most artistic and beautiful Japanese typical fireworks such as chrysanthemums with double core and triple core, never displayed in Montreal since the firm won the Gold Jupiter in 1985. The history of Marutamaya Co. originates from the Edo period.
